WHAT'S MY LINE?
THE WHISTLER
THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939)

This is an incredible version of the story of Jesus Christ and who else would have the chutzpah than Cecil B. de Mille to do it . . . and more than once?!

This is the 1927 silent version de Mille did with 2-Strip Technicolor and the titles (the cards that are interspersed during the movie) quote the actual Biblical sites quoted.

Truly must be seen to be believed.

THE KING OF KINGS (1927)

by Cecil de Mille

Part 1 of 16:  Mary Magdalene becomes angry when Judas, now a follower of Jesus, won't come to her feast. She goes to see Jesus and becomes repentant. From there the Bible story unfolds through the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
